'Full Metal Jousting' brings 12th century sport to the 21st

Jousting may seem so 12th century, but the History Channel is giving the medieval competition a very modern face-lift for its new series, "Full Metal Jousting."

The show, premiering on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 10/9c on History Channel, replaces traditional armor with suits of steel and instead of honor, the 13 jousters are competing for money. 

Sailor Alex Thomson's amazing 'keel walk' recorded on video

Fans of sailing and cool imagery regarding sailing may recall an advertisement photo from a few years ago showing Alex Thomson in a suit standing on the keel of his racing yacht, Hugo Boss, as it was swiftly under sail with the keel free of the water. Many believed the image to have been photo-shopped and Thomson recently set out to prove these people wrong, by attempting the dangerous stunt with cameras rolling (see video).

Man falls to death aboard cruise ship in Bahamas

Authorities are investigating the death of a passenger aboard the Carnival Fantasy who fell from an upper deck to a lower deck while the cruise ship was docked in the Bahamas.

The 26-year-old victim, whose identity was not released, fell from one of the upper levels of the ship's atrium to the lobby level late Friday night,  Carnival Cruise Lines said in a statement Saturday. The ship was docked in Nassau at the time.
