In an appearance on the Ellen Show, the “House of Lies” actress said she lost it when her fiancé, Dax Shepard, brought her a visit from a sloth for her birthday. A home video shot by Shepard shows Bell getting so worked up over the sloth that she ends up in tears.
“My entire life had been waiting for this moment, I’m serious, where I got to interact with a sloth,” she said, addingthat she is prone to cry when she is overly excited.
In the video, Bell is seen crying so hard when Shepard knocks on the door that she could barely speak.
“I mean, I needed to be sedated really,” she said.
The sloth, named Melon, stayed for Bell’s 31st birthday party.
“They had set up a little habitat of essentially a jungle gym and she just hung out,” Bell said.
